It hasn’t snowed in OR yet, so I am going retrograde with the photos. This was taken four days shy of being a year ago by Silver Falls. It is quite a fitting depiction for the coming blanket of ice that is going to envelop every tree when their promised ‘dark winter’ hits its culmination.
“At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
Matthew 24:10-14
many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other – As we can see transpiring, people who used to be on the same side or perhaps ‘in name only’ are turning against each other from the political arena all the way to the Christian circles. Christians are split on whether or not to take the vaccine. While I have my personal convictions as to why I am not taking it, the verse below would be worth noting when it comes to matters of the conscience,
“Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.”
Romans 14:22 NKJV
Do your own research and pray to the Lord that He will reveal the truth to you regarding this type of vaccine that has not been FDA approved for quite some time until just recently. The president-elect promises to fast track the vaccine agenda, so sooner or later, we all would have to face this decision.
many false prophets will appear and deceive many people – Dingo alert! This tense climate has become a boon for wolves and dingos (dogs) alike. We must beware of those who preach the gospel, but appeal to the flesh. They may sound legit but watch out for those who make a merchandise of the gospel. It’s no coincidence these types have megachurches and stadiums full of people with itching ears (2 Timothy 4:3).
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold – We are seeing this happen in our time and our goal as Christians is to be led by the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:16-17), not the spirit of the age (1 John 4:3, 2 Corinthians 4:4). The most loving thing a Christian could do is to continue on speaking the truth to a world that is steeped with the adversary’s lies.
We can combat their Dark Winter with the truth of God’s Word.
