Good news. The flowers are blooming on some trees. The not so good news is that for the professing Christians who claim to have prayed to God to give them peace about voting in the people who were up front about forwarding this agenda, I am sorry to be the bearer of this extremely bad news. There is no way Yahweh, the righteous God was the one who gave you peace about helping to usher this kind of wickedness in.
Some Christians voted to give their rights away and those of the innocent. Some pastors have already denied the faith by apologizing for righteous biblical stances in capitulation to this and more will follow.
God is a forgiving God and even though Christians were duped by the “humble” persona of a grandfather figure who made a pitch to take back the soul of this nation, there are long-standing, residual consequences to this confusion. I am not ashamed to admit the “I told you so” tone of this post, but sometimes, people need to see the cold hard truth so that they can wake up. This is why knowing what is in His Word and what goes against it is important so we do not end up in rebellion and denying Jesus by the causes we support.
“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.”
