Book burning happens to be a communistic/socialistic hallmark. Of course, I would not hurl this assertion without being backed by the annals of history. What is it about books that threaten totalitarian regimes?
I just recently received the other project I was working on. It’s a fusion of a scripture with picture devotional journal. It’s kind of ironic that it’s only been recent that I was moved to preserve my sentiments in book format, when the country is now going in the trajectory of full-blown Socialism. It becomes sad to think that we could possibly see history repeat itself.
Write your story while you can. We probably may not be as free to express our convictions in the blogosphere in the long run, except when it aligns to the state’s approved guidelines. Unless there be a major divine intervention, this country is looking more like a shell of what it once was. I don’t mean to sound like a pessimist. Every Christian is a realist.
This brings me to the movie entitled Equilibrium, where there was a state-sanctioned mandate for every citizen to take drugs. Not only that, it was verboten for people to have art and books. The plot is not too far-fetched as we are now seeing a near nationwide mandate when it comes to the experimental jab. I wouldn’t call the movie prophetic per se. It’s more like hiding in plain sight. It’s the same as Tom Brady trivializing the fact that his wife is into witchcraft.
Speaking of which, I couldn’t believe my eyes that TJ Maxx is now including Tarot Cards in their store offerings. I found out about this just this morning and I now know the reason why I actually checked out their new arrivals. It was to shed light that this diabolical agenda is no longer esoteric. It is practically mainstream suited for a G-rated target market.
If this is not a fruition of Bible prophecy (Matthew 24:37, Genesis 6:5), I don’t know what is.
