As White As Snow

It snowed late last night and we woke up to a few inches of accumulation. It turns out we didn’t have to go to the mountains to see snow after all. Growing up, I was not too fond of snow. It brings memories of wet socks and having to rush through slush just to get to school on time.

We passed through enough snow-capped mountains from Utah to OR when we moved here in December of 2016. The last time we headed to the mountains for snow in 2019, we got stuck on the road by the mountain and by God’s grace, someone happened to pass through to help us out.

“Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
Cleanse me, and I will be whiter than snow.
