Today was another bread making day. I wanted to try to make Pan Cubano from this recipe, but I did not have the active dry yeast that it called for on hand so I ended up trying @cooks_hideout’s Cuban Bread recipe. If you plan on trying it, add 2 tsp of salt. I believe she forgot it on her recipe print out, unless it was left out on purpose.
The blog title says ‘basket’, but in this case, it’s a bag.
There was fabric left over from the tunic so I started to work on a speedy bag while the dough was rising.
It is patterned from an old one made a few years back. It’s a working progress with the trim and handles since as of the moment, they are just pinned.
