Canine Conundrum

But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”

Revelation 22:15

The verse defines for us what a dog is. Included in the definition is anyone who teaches something that directly contradicts truth revealed in Scripture. Brandan Robertson claims to have received his B.A. in Pastoral Ministry and Theology from Moody Bible Institute. He asserts to be in the truth with the label of a Christian pastor while actively living a homosexual lifestyle. As this man broadcasts his viral assault on the character of Jesus Christ being ‘racist’, he implied that God incarnate is a sinner in need of repentance.

Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son.

1 John 2:22

His interpretation of the passage about Jesus calling the Syrophoenician woman a dog (Mark 7:24-30) shows us that he is the classic example of 1 Corinthians 2:14,

“The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

Some people although genuine in their misguided intent are genuinely deceived. In that deception, they go about deceiving those who neglect to search the Scriptures for themselves. As I’ve closed in a post from two years ago, I’ll say this again, when you choose to let dogs drive your car, don’t be surprised if you end up miserable at the dog pound.

Absurdity in the form of activism happens to be trending nowadays and it is infecting even the body of Christ. The only way we can stay sane in the time we are living in is to know the truth and cling to the Word of God.

Beware of dogs.

Have a happy Friday everyone!
