The last time my family visited Portland was before the governor issued the Stay at home order sometime in March. On a whim, we ended up there today. It’s almost an hour away from the house. We walked around for a bit and was surprised to see most of the storefronts still boarded up and emblazoned with graffiti.
While this flower one looks positive, the rest has George Floyd. It is sad to think they have made the man to be a martyr and a symbol for their movement of chaos and destruction. The artists are indeed very talented. Even though I’m appreciative of Art, I would have rather walked around with everything looking normal than seeing symbols of defiance and disrespect for private property.
Imagine this all over the cities where you no longer see stores looking the way they used to.
I am happy to see some streets still look normal. I’m sure a lot of us wish we could rewind to times prior to them unleashing the agent of their Great Reset, preceded by the ‘Great Awakening’.
While people are falling for a movement called the Great Awakening (also seen in the QAnon movement), what is highly suspect about this is that although it is tied to a political movement, many Christians (I know people who are into this) are unsuspectingly being in cahoots with New Agers. The quote below is derived from an article entitled “The Great Awakening of 2020: What you need to know“ rife with New Age vibes and lingo.
“There are people on the planet that have known that if they were to retain the resources if they were to keep people and to fear in anger. This right here is the scale of consciousness. It’s from a book called power versus force and you got fear, anger, neutrality, except as reasoning, love, joy, peace, enlightenment. These are different levels of consciousness.”
Another quote about The Great Awakening from an article coming from a New Age source which is more alarming than the one on top is this,
“People have to lose faith in the old systems, that’s when the system goes down.”
This awakening that precedes the system reset only occurs when people decide to lose faith in clinging to “the old rugged cross.” This would be problematic for professing Christians unless they decide to compromise their core belief (John 14:6) to go along with Ecumenism that on the surface would usher peace; This is of course a false one since every belief system is exclusive when you really think about it.
The New Age Movement has long infiltrated the church with Oprah, the Enneagram (Andy Stanley) and professing Christians who are still currently dabbling with Astrology through horoscopes. The New Age Movement happens to be one of the things God delivered me from. It is getting more evident that the adversary is using it to subvert true Christians from their devotion to Jesus Christ.
While there are the obvious Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland and Joel Osteen (he uses New Age principles too) prosperity gospel types, there are plenty of people who ask for money and sell their merchandise as they share the gospel! This seems to be a common practice here in WP. They sound legit, but their deeds are obvious. It reminds me of Jesus’ indignation towards the money changers at the temple. (Matthew 21-12:13).
“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.”
