Cold Weather Preoccupation

It’s cold and rainy. My bird channel on Rumble has been inactive for over two weeks since the weather has not been permitting. There were seagulls around, but I didn’t want to wet my equipment so looking at birds will have to wait. I started to make a cup which says rain fog: and planned to put this as a definition – a short-term malaise caused by nonstop rain… However, it’s kinda stupid so I kept it at rain fog: and will eventually scrape it off.

The nonstop rain became the perfect opportunity to do some personalized mugs. The last time I made one was my veritas mug (seen here) made in December of 2019 and I have been using the same cup to this day. The charcoal gray on the left says “Wishing for Spring” with a mauve glitter Cherry Blossom flower design.

What better way to keep warm being wrapped in a fleece blanket while drinking a hot beverage! The one with Psalm 23:5 is my favorite. It’s with an Allium flower in eggplant color and the text in charcoal glitter. Hoping this will last as long as the other one.

Even now, it is still raining outside so I’m going to have to pick up another wet weather project. It’s between a fleece turtleneck tunic or a crochet amigurumi.
