Deception In Plain Sight

If these people truly believed that their cause is the truth, it should be backed by their full identity with confidence without having to hide under a mask.

The truth I know is not something to be ashamed of. Alongside the truth I am speaking about may include an exposé of shameful things I’ve done in the past which is attached to my testimony and yet, it only shows what I have been liberated from. If one is fully convinced of the truth, the very extent of dying rather than renouncing it can be a consequence. Although the fear of death no longer holds me captive, we all would prefer a more peaceful way of leaving earth. My personal preference would be to die in my sleep or better yet, being caught up in the rapture of the church.

Back to those Animal Rights activists, I am not awed by their sense of community service and outward appearance of selflessness. One who participates in this kind of activism recounted she found her “life’s purpose” by being an “anonymous for the voiceless,” and this referring to animals. My first encounter with these folks was at the heart of Union Square some years ago and it is not surprising to find them here in an equally liberal state. What I find to be truly ironic and beyond sad is that exactly a block away from where these “caring” humans told their “truth,” was the inconvenient truth of HUMAN homelessness.

I have no doubt those activists are truly sincere but they are sincerely misguided. Are we to put our energies to prioritize animals over human kind? I pity the young minds of today who are the very targets of being corrupted by some people’s version of twisted truth. I do not advocate for cruelty to animals but if their truth involves the degradation of the value of human life (secondary to their cause for animals and the apparent neglect of the cause desperately crying out in their midst), then it is nothing but an absolute lie.

“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

Colossians 2:8

Well, like Mr. T would say, “I pity the fool”

    1. Honestly, I can’t give up my double cheeseburger or fried chicken. They taste so yummy. Now it’s another thing when you are actually aware of the fact that the meat you’re eating came from a cow that died from Mad cow disease. That would be suicide.

      1. How much more of an antithesis can you get from where the Bible says to love your neighbor as yourself to loving their chicken, cows and etc more than their neighbors.

      2. Funny you should say that. Quite the antithesis indeed! On another note, I do love my chicken, especially fried and with Teriyaki Sauce 🙂

  2. Amen sister, the anarchist, leftist and cool aid drinkers along with the snow flakes have no concept of real life. Get a job people, our legally elected President helped the economy so you could. Thanks for a good post.

    1. We have the indoctrination campuses to thank for encouraging this kind of mindset. Thank you and I appreciate your visit ヅ
