Instead of spending money on a store bought rug, I decided to go the DIY route undertaking a new project, a crochet t-shirt rug. I headed to Hobby Lobby and grabbed a humongous crochet hook for this, something I am happy to add to my collection. I intend to place the finished project under the children’s work table before the school year starts.
I could have gone to Joann’s and bought the fabric but I have no clue how many yards I would need so I opted to use t-shirts instead. I bought most of the shirts I used on this from the Dollar Tree and cut them in one long spiral strip along with other shirts I no longer wear.
This will definitely be taking a lot of my time and so, this will have to be a really short entry.
