Early Morning Chickadee

It was such a pleasant surprise that I did not have to go anywhere to get a bird clip today. A few of them came by this morning. I’m glad it decided to chill by the chopstick birdhouse.

I saved some dried sunflower heads from 2019 and placed one on the birdfeeder. Apparently, it fell down so it went foraging. Some of these little birdies came by over a week ago, but the seeds were not ready then.

It is truly amazing to witness that they are embedded with the knowledge of when the seeds are ready for them.

Well, Hi there!

I was sitting on the chair and this one was so hungry it didn’t seem to mind my presence. Ironically, as my attention was on this chickadee, a hummingbird hovered right by me for several seconds, but today is Chickadee day. These little birds make such cute tweets, but it had been eclipsed by the Scrub Jay’s less than pleasant eeks. You’ll hear their cute sounds towards the end of the clip.
