Being fairly new here, I was not around to see this Magnolia tree before it became what it is now. People pass by admiring the colors coming from its flowers during Spring. As I got close intent to take pictures of the flowers, my focus suddenly turned to the chartreuse leaf that stuck out and screamed “Over here!” Of course it didn’t actually do that but you know what I mean. I love chartreuse and also its perfect contrasting color, aubergine (the flowers are not quite purple but it still holds a beautiful contrast). The fact that when the tree is mature, the flowers actually appear first before the leaves! I did not know this before today.

On the chicken or the egg question, I was never asked this by anyone. It was briefly brought up by someone on The Five yesterday out of the blue while explaining a political standpoint. I never liked that question because I’ve heard it so many times, and it’s obvious that if the egg came first, there would be no chicken at all. Considering the intrinsic predatory tendencies of animals, the egg would be toast before it could even mature into a chicken. The chicken has to be present first to protect its egg and ensure its safety. God knows that some of us enjoy eating fried chicken and scrambled eggs. Those who believe in God know the proper order. It is plainly revealed in Genesis. Some people consider it arrogant when we stand by The Book, but, when you really think about it, arrogance can only be attributed to someone who asserts something that has nothing to do with the truth.

Truth is under attack and we are living in the end times. Now is the time to get right with God. Plans are underway for the Third Temple. Cling to the gospel. As God’s Word warns us repeatedly, Do not be deceived.

But I fear that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your minds may be seduced from a complete and pure devotion to Christ. For if a person comes and preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or you receive a different spirit, which you had not received, or a different gospel, which you had not accepted, you put up with it splendidly!

  1. Amen! His return is so close, and the deception is growing stronger everyday. Let’s all look up, because our redemption is very near!
