My “self-censorship” has been due to an Amigurumi craze. Overturning decades of sanctioned shedding of innocent blood on the federal level is definitely good news, but the celebration is short-lived as evil seeks to capitalize on the occasion to foment more chaos. Portland is known for activists vandalizing property in the wake of happenings like this. It’s textbook like 2020’s George Floyd fiasco. It’s looking more like an “October surprise” but since it happens around summertime during an election year, someone oughta come up with a different term for election year antics.

Being immersed in a crafter’s mess is much preferable.

For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

Psalm 139:13 NIV

My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.

Psalm 139:15-16 NIV

It’s not trendy to believe this, but before the world became what it is now, this truth will always stand.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

Matthew 5:8 NIV
