Intimacy

If you have been reading my posts for quite some time, you probably wondered about my disappearance. Would you believe me when I say I was extremely depressed when I took this picture? I truly was. At the time, I could not share something that exuded beauty and vibrancy when what was going on inside was anything but the contrary and so it has its appointed time. It just so happens that apart from what we may be feeling, things continue as they are, unaffected; the flower and the surrounding cannot stop being colorful. In the same way, what we may be feeling or know may be completely removed from reality.

“No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”

John 15:15

“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. ²¹ But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. ²² If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. ²³ He who hates Me hates My Father also.”

John 15:20-23

“Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. ²⁵ And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. ²⁶ These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.”

1 John 2:23-26

– Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father – A denial of Jesus Christ means compromising sound doctrine for whatever reason one might have. If you compromise core Christian beliefs for the sake of peace, this agenda is clearly not from God. As Christians, we are called to be peacemakers but we are not to toss our convictions in pursuit of that peace. Something massive is coming to the face of the earth and whether we acknowledge it or not, we are living in its beginning stages. Many people are without work and if it lingers for months, those who do not have anything will be forced to accept whatever is given to them (the Mark of the Beast) and that will include giving up their freedoms in order to survive.

“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. ¹² And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. ¹³ He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. ¹⁴ And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. ¹⁵ He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”

Revelation 13:11-15

Is this merely a theory? You may be one of those who think so. If you are among those who claim to believe in Jesus Christ, what we are experiencing today is the formation of what has long been written about. While there is time, He is longing to be intimate with you.

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
