Subtle Subversion

Though the sun means energy, to say “God is energy” is foreign to Scripture.
Scripture talks about God’s “power and great glory“.

“There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.”

Revelation 22:5 NKJV

Winter Moon

Like the moon can never be the sun, you can’t shine the way God made you when you compare yourself to someone else.

“The sun has one degree of splendor, the moon another, and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.”

1 Corinthians 15:41 BSB

Smirking Goat

Don’t be fooled by the charismatic smile of a goat.

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.”

Matthew 25:31-34 NIV

Light In The Darkness

They can only try to snuff out the message of salvation.

“We also have the word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.”

2 Peter 1:19 BSB
