Same place, another day and another time of day. The blue skies make it look better than yesterday’s dark clouds.
We take things for granted especially when we know things to be so even since we were born, but it’s amazing that the waves truly cannot go past the boundary. That was always God’s design–everything operating within boundaries. It’s when people disregard the boundaries that God set that things don’t go too well.
“Do you not fear Me?’ says the LORD. ‘Will you not tremble at My presence, Who have placed the sand as the bound of the sea, By a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass beyond it? And though its waves toss to and fro, Yet they cannot prevail; Though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it.”
Jeremiah 5:22 NKJV
This verse exemplifies God’s sovereignty. Nothing can go through whether good or bad unless He allows it. We have the Word of God to know how things will ultimately turn out.
