There really is no distinction between people who choose not to forgive, murderers, thieves and the sexually immoral. All are equally morally corrupt in God’s eyes. The only difference is in the manner corruption is made manifest.
To ascribe the word integrity to a politician who so called seeks justice for the citizens yet cheats repeatedly on his wife i.e. is quite erroneous. That person only appears to have integrity but in reality has none.
There is nothing moral about adultery, unforgiveness and blatant defiance of God’s decrees.
As a rude awakening, 1 John 3:15 reminds us that “Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.”
To dissect the verse, any person who does not forgive and continues to harbor hatred against anyone is equated as a murderer. They have not committed the actual act of murder per se but nevertheless, the actual motive of murder originates from hate, and if left unchecked, it will become the enemy’s stronghold in one’s life, hardening one’s heart and calloused to hear the Holy Spirit’s conviction.
If you claim to be a Christian and support liberal policies that contradict biblical morality, your subjective morality is inconsistent with integrity. Usage of the word integrity has to be understood because its definition demands nothing less than unequivocal moral uprightness, an undeniable witness of a life lived with mindful intent to please God.
