Do any of you believe that Muslims, Buddhists and who knows whatever religion there is out there is praying to the same god that evangelical Christians do?
If you say yes, you are absolutely mistaken. It is not a matter of imposing my opinion but the Bible itself states in John 14:6,
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
Is that not clear enough? There is nowhere in the bible that can reconcile what Pope John Paul II did, pray with those other religious leaders for peace. It is like drinking from the cup of good and evil, mixing water with oil. How can peace be achieved if most of the religious leaders are praying to the devil, the father of chaos in his many guises and alongside praying to the one and True God? It is contrary to the Word of God. It would appear that there is unity in prayer, deceptively quoting the bible in Matthew 18:20,
“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”
How can that be? Those Muslims and Buddhists did not gather along with the Pope in Jesus’ name. They gathered with the pope praying to their own god… How can that be of accord when there will never be peace and allegiance between God and idols?
We do not worship the same god as the snake worshippers or spiritists do. To believe that somehow we pray to one God along with the likes of diviners and animists is simply a matter of ignorance. We all know the cliché “Ignorance excuses no one.” There’s a quick fix to this; simply grab and read your bible.
Our ignorance of what Jesus Christ himself said that He is the ONLY way to God will not be an excuse when it is time to face Him.
