Perennial Hope & Expectation

With all that is happening, there is no better time than now for us to cling to the good things—enjoying the company of loved ones, enjoying God’s creation and above all, prioritizing our personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and living lives expectant of His coming–by this, the Rapture, to save us from the coming wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10). God sees what is happening to the world and His utmost care and concern for all of His children, those who believe in His name (John 1:12) is the very reason He left us with His precious Word as an anchor, that in these very times of stress and distress, we may all cling to His promises.

“Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God, He will come and save you.”

Isaiah 35:4 NKJV

“But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

“Listen to Me, you who know righteousness,
You people in whose heart is My law;
Do not fear the reproach of men,
Nor be afraid of their insults,
8 For the moth will eat them up like a garment,
And the worm will eat them like wool;
But my righteousness will be forever,
And My salvation from generation to generation.”

Isaiah 51:7-8 NKJV

“I called on Your name, O LORD,
From the lowest pit.
56 You have heard my voice;
“Do not hide Your ear
From my sighing, from my cry for help.”
57 You drew near on the day I called on You,
And said, “Do not fear!”
58 O Lord, You have pleaded the case for my soul;
You have redeemed my life.”

Lamentations 3:55-58 NKJV

“Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.
23 I have sworn by Myself;
The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness,
And shall not return,
That to Me every knee shall bow,
Every tongue shall take an oath.”

Isaiah 45:22-23 NKJV

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV

Have a blessed weekend!
