“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear,
but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:15 NIV
The adversary and his minions are working overtime in this late hour. If you are one who is resolved to be faithful to God and the enemy is putting all kinds of obstacles and assault in your mind,
- You could be victorious until an opportune time (Luke 4:13).
- You could fall and stay down.
- You could fall and get back up.
The power to get back up is readily available to the one who has truly given their life to Jesus Christ through prayer. When you do pray, you can expect a slew of interruptions coming from the enemy. Their intent is to sever your connection to God. You do not have to stay down and let the enemy succeed in putting a stop to what God has for you to do. Push back and push through.
“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
Romans 8:26 NIV
“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Luke 10:19-20 NIV
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
1 John 4:4 NIV
