We stayed home all day…
It’s been a while since I baked cookies (Oatmeal Chocolate Chip) and today happened to be the day.
Those who walk righteously
and speak what is right,
who reject gain from extortion
and keep their hands from accepting bribes,
who stop their ears against plots of murder
and shut their eyes against contemplating evil—
16 they are the ones who will dwell on the heights,
whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.
Their bread will be supplied,
and water will not fail them.
Isaiah 33:15-16 NIV
When I read verse 15, it reminded me of the time when I received a letter which offered close to $750 of compensation just to participate in the clinical trial of the hocus poke. This was before the supply became mainstream. It was mindboggling how their offer was drastically reduced to measly odds and ends like free burgers, donuts and drugs. Now, they are making it into a matter of subsistence.
To those who have yet to make the choice and are facing the decision to lose their livelihood over this, contemplate on the passage and cling to the promise it holds. It comes directly from the Word of God.
He is faithful!
