Though last night’s full moon looked like most I’ve seen before, I especially liked the colors that appeared in the night sky.
What Is a Blue Moon?
There are two different definitions for a Blue Moon. A seasonal Blue Moon is the third Full Moon of an astronomical season that has four Full Moons. A monthly Blue Moon is the second Full Moon in a calendar month with two Full Moons.
The Full Moon on August 22/23, 2021 is a seasonal Blue Moon. It is also this year’s Sturgeon Moon.
The next seasonal Blue Moon after this is also a Sturgeon Blue Moon. It takes place on Aug 19/20, 2024.

Since no one knows the exact day of the Rapture, I took the time to document this. According to timeanddate, the next occurrence of the rarely blue “Blue Moon” is three years from now. A lot can happen within that time frame.
It was mostly cloudy all day yesterday. Fortunately, the sky was clearing an hour after moon rise. The moon will not always look as bright as this.
“Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.”
Revelation 8:12
“Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.”
Isaiah 55:6-7
