I love eating Mai fun or Sai fun noodles. Mai fun is made of rice while Sai fun is made out of Mung beans. They are super easy and quick to make. Even if you haven’t made it before, when you follow the directions on the package, you are guaranteed to create a yummy dish. It usually takes me less than 20 minutes to make.

You can toss in all kinds of different things in there to create different flavor profiles. However, if you forget to put in Salt (I preferably use Soy Sauce on this as a substitute), what you see might look appetizing, but at first bite, you will know that it is missing something. Who likes eating bland food? The only ones who can tolerate bland food are those with messed up taste buds who really can’t taste the difference.

Note: The ingredients listed on the image are for illustration purposes only, but you could totally make it work by adding what is needed – SALT to taste.

The culture we live in has this trend of doing away with everything Christian. Most news outlets will not cover this since it doesn’t fit their narrative. There are many who think killing off Christians will make for a better world, one without the nagging reminder of sin and its implications. Two countries where Christianity is discouraged happens to be Asian countries, China and North Korea. There are people who go there to visit, but you will not see people by the droves desiring to move there. Most people can give plenty of answers as to why, but those countries have harsh treatment of people because they are mainly run by people who deny God.

To the backsliding one:

You know who you are. Is your Christianity intact or do you see yourself conforming more to this world? If you are struggling, acknowledging that you’re struggling is a good sign. However, when you find yourself comfortable where you are, this is where you know you’re in serious trouble.

If you are seriously doubting your Christianity, has any of your old friends ever told you since you gave your life to Jesus that you’ve changed? You don’t even need other people to tell you this, but when you are disgusted by the things you used to do, that is a good indicator that you no longer belong to this world. The next step is to bypass your feelings and go straight to the truth. You have been made new in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Sometimes the transformation is instant but the truth is, it takes time to shed your old skin (you will still have heavy residue of your old lifestyle, plus you’re still in the corruptible body), but you need to make the choice to keep moving to get unstuck. The Holy Spirit, the Helper is inside you and you will overcome (1 John 4:4).

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”

Matthew 5:13
