I was chillin’ on my bed shortly after dinner yesterday
And outside the window was God’s ray
of hope and promise amidst the all encompassing gray
which only made it stand out beautifully on display

Before we accepted Christ as Savior, we were all once on the dark side of the spectrum. I’m not sharing this with an aura of condemnation. I’m sharing it as a testimony that I WAS on that list. The moment you accept what Jesus Christ has done for you, the tense completely changes. You step into the bright side of the spectrum (v. 11) which gives so much hope – And that is what some of you were- WERE. We are free because whoever the Son sets free, is free indeed (John 8:36). The joy afforded by this freedom from bondage is what spurs the Christian to share it with everyone. If you happen to hold to a notion that puts all Christians on a fault-finding mission, I am here to tell you that the truth is quite the contrary.

Freedom from the curse and the hope of eternal life (John 3:16-17) is available to anyone who chooses it. Claiming this hope is solely at your discretion.

May you choose hope without delay.

  1. The only way out of a fault-finding mission is to not only preach the unadulterated Word of God, but to also live it!
