It’s not even 11 AM yet. I never expected to take a silhouette picture at this time. Gray skies are a normal occurrence in OR, but skies tinted in Burnt Sienna give an aura of impending doom.
We got the air advisory warning late in the afternoon yesterday. The air was saturated with the smell of something burning around 7 PM and all through the night.
I took a walk in perfectly sunny skies just hours prior to the alert to deal with some battle that was strongly waging in my mind. I listened to Worship music the whole time. When I walked out of the house, I had no planned destination, but I ended up walking to the State Capitol which was 4 miles away from where I started.
I took some pictures along the way using my phone and this was one of them. Though seemingly unrelated to today’s Burnt Sienna skies, it’s interesting how one day could be a beautiful, normal day and the next, peculiar and apocalyptic.
Around 3 PM yesterday, the skies were still completely blue and there was a Trump rally happening on Capitol grounds. I did not go there for that reason. I was away from the crowd and sat on a bench in seclusion. Later on I decided to walk around the area and a man came and warned me it was not good to be around there since Antifa was coming. I don’t know who that man was, but I heeded his warning.
As I am writing this, the brownish tint in the sky is getting even darker. I have not experienced being hundreds of miles away from a place where a nuclear bomb has detonated, but the atmosphere certainly reminds me of that. The current condition is attributed to a forest fire and not a nuclear explosion. My apologies for the seeming sensationalism.

The battle is getting stronger on all fronts. For Christians, the battle is amped up because the enemy’s end goal is for people to apostatize. With churches closing down, this will only get worse. As a believer, we have to look at both sides and the verse below perfectly shows us that looking at both bad and good is what constitutes reality.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

I just wonder about the unusual color of the skies in Oregon. This is a warning. Mankind has to repent and be sorry for all the sins committed against the Lord the Almighty God.
