To End Time Prophecy Skeptics
Though a few past US presidents have likened themselves to Cyrus in aiding the Jewish nation, only Donald Trump is acknowledged by the Jewish people to even put his image on a coin next to Cyrus. The Jewish people are calling for the Third Temple.
“Remember this, and show yourselves men;
Recall to mind, O you transgressors.
9 Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’”

The Great Apostasy
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Did we already miss the second coming of Jesus? Of course not! The “Great Apostasy” has to come first. There weren’t as many Christians at the time of the destruction of the second temple compared to now. We are in the midst of the great apostasy.
Do you believe Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega (Revelation 22:13), who knows everything from the beginning to the end?
It is tragic that some people choose to validate their views regarding the second coming with a testimony from Josephus rather than God’s Word. Catholics also find the prophecies of Nostradamus and revelations from Marian apparitions which contradict what is written in Scripture more believable than Scripture itself!

It’s interesting that many scholars claim they can find no mention of the US in end time prophecy, but we’re all over the page when it comes to bringing about end time conditions today.
It is interesting. The focus of the end times is Israel as we see the culmination and fruition of God’s promise to His chosen people. If America remained a bulwark, it would conflict with the reign of the antichrist.
That’s very true. Someday things will change drastically for us here in the US. Someday soon, I believe.
Yes. I heard Amir’s prognostication on Trump’s re-election today. Of course he wishes re-election but with all of the tactics the Left are willing to do to gain control, he voiced his not so optimistic view.
The left is being unwittingly controlled by the enemy. It is the same spirit that controlled and incited the Jews against the prophets and against Christ. They think they are so clever, and do not even realize they are only pawns in a spiritual battle.
Before we came to know and believed in Christ, we all were ‘under the power of the evil one’ as 1 John 5:19 puts it. Only when Christ took off our spiritual blinders were we able to see the spiritual battle. It is sad because with all the competing false doctrines out there and being in the last days, many will choose to stay that way.
