What does this world have to offer you?

We may not see Eternal life, but people pursue the deceptive promises of earthly longevity and the grail of ‘everlasting’ youth. We do our best with strength training and hope for health and wellness, but in this fallen world, the things we least expect come upon us. Everything we have put our energies into can easily be snatched from us by an unseen intruder. The world can feel and see the effects of what an invisible organism can do, not only in the physical, but also the economy on a global scale. The unseen is clearly changing the way we live.
Is it ‘pie in the sky’ to believe in the Most High?
Sure we don’t see Him, but we see the change He brings about to an unregenerated soul. It is the power of God manifested in our weakness. He is God and we are merely His creation. And yet, He came to die for you and for me,
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
John 3:17
“Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24 Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25 Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.”

If you choose this world, you have also just chosen everything of what’s mentioned at the top, what we all dread to experience. That is what life offers.
“The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”
Jeremiah 31:3
Eternal life starts the moment you receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior.
