  1. The Word is life-saving to those who hold tight to it but to those who let go will perish.

    1. I especially like how one commentary puts it, “When the fool rejects wisdom, wisdom rejects the fool.”

      1. It’s interesting because a fool is a person that knows better yet decides to go against it.

      2. At the heart of that is rebellion and when people do that, they mirror the one who incited the first rebellion and so they share the same lot if they do not repent.
