Isn’t the grandeur of Mount Rushmore amazing? Very much indeed. We all know this is not a product of some gradual, random erosion throughout a millennia or millions of years for that matter. It was carefully planned and engineered in a relatively short period of time by finite human beings.
What about the universe and all of its complexities? Am I to believe that no one created it? As a free thinker, I refuse to succumb to irrationality by accepting some mere theory, that same theory which is impressed in our schools fueling adherents (yes, the same ones who believe nothing created everything, the ones who have utter disdain of God whom they claim is non-existent) to condescend on people who find God, (with all of creation as evidence) to be the more logical explanation of the origin of all things.
Point to ponder: How can a person hate someone whom they claim to not exist? Who then, is irrational?
Marginalization is not necessary in a free world, but apparently, we are all under the delusion that we have the freedom to think especially when the schools where we are so-called encouraged to be free thinkers are being hijacked with biased point of views. This explains why the school I went to made us read Siddhartha, 1984, A Brave New World, The Jungle, etc. which by the way they say it is to learn about dystopia (with the exception of Siddhartha, which pushes New Age philosophy) but guess what? We are actually reading about the future which is now… It is quite creepy to point out that those works of literature actually lay out the framework of where the world is heading, a world devoid of God.
All I am saying is, there is nothing wrong about actually thinking. But if thinking is too hard, at least resist settling for what is shoved in your face. Just because the Big Bang and evolution are taught in schools doesn’t make it right. They are not absolute. They’re only theories.
