We passed through a school with an interesting name today. It was Philander Lee Elementary School.
…All I thought when I saw it was who in the world would name their kid Philander (philanderer)??? I know, it’s just the name of a school, but there’s so much to a name. I’m thankful my mother picked a name with a positive meaning for me, the heavens. I wouldn’t dream of naming my son Judas or even Philander. It may sound cool or whatever but knowing what it means? I dunno. Anyway, it’s true what Scripture says,
“Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6
Hopefully, philandering is not what they teach the kids at an early age!
