Even though what’s happening in the world around us is getting more chaotic and confusing by the minute, we have a lot to be thankful for that God is giving us another day to get the gospel of salvation out before His wrath will come upon the whole world. In the cycle of life (Ecclesiastes 1:9), we find ourselves living as in the days of Noah (Luke 17:22-30),
“The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.”
Genesis 6:5
Redefining marriage is a grave indicator of a point of no return. Scrapping the gender norm seals the deal. If everything is being normalized, this automatically includes incest, pedophilia, polygamy/polyamory, self-marriage – this may be absurd to some and people may think this is a joke, but this only substantiates the warning in 2 Timothy 3:2, “For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy”
“Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
