Strange Anointings

Have you ever heard of Jenny Weaver? Awhile back, I saw this woman’s testimony via CBN. She happens to be part of the viral demon slayers–a questionable bunch with massive following on Social media. Recently, her Waves of Glory Resurrection Sunday service boasted of hundreds of baptisms on the same day. With a convincing ex-occult testimony, she also happens to believe that a Holy Spirit-filled believer like herself can still be possessed by a demon.

As this woman prophesies over her in some strange sounding ‘tongue’, she appears to be convulsing reminiscent of one possessed by a Kundalini spirit.

Scripture is clear that only men can be pastors and elders (Titus 1) and only in our time do we hear of women usurping men’s roles even when it comes to baptizing believers. Revelation 2:18-25 gives a warning to the Church in Thyatira about a prophetess who misleads people with her teachings. This is another clear sign that we are truly in the end times. While Jesus says in Luke 9:50 that “whoever is not against you is for you” as she appears to be leading people to faith in Jesus, what kind of spirit is she imparting to those who attend her services when she appears to have been slain in the Spirit’?

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

Beware of internet sensation Chrislebrities who clearly contradict Scripture.
