“But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” 19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. 20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Be merciful to those who doubt; 23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.”
Jude 1:17:23
In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires – “They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.” – (Jude 1:4b) Scripture explains scripture.
Any professing Christian denomination that affirms the homosexual agenda that is going to be imposed on every man and woman in the ‘Great Reset‘ will be taking part in perverting God’s grace into a license for immorality. This inescapable agenda will be coming to a neighborhood near you. I have no hatred towards homosexuals. It is however a great deception among the professing Christians to believe that they are ‘loving people’ when they stay silent in order please people (Galatians 4:16).
These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit – These professing Christians are confused. They want to reach the world for Christ, but they compromise the truth of God’s Word to cater to the world (James 4:4). They have no problem claiming to be in the truth as they disregard the truth (Isaiah 5:20-24).
save others by snatching them from the fire – A fireman’s job is to put out the fire that is engulfing the house. No one gets taken to safety unless someone volunteers to go into the fire. The fireman has mercy for people since without it, no person will take on a job that has the risk of dying while trying to save others.
hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh – It is easier to be brought down than to be pulled up. There’s more people walking on the broad road than the narrow path. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak (Matthew 26:41). Being vigilant is a must.
“My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”
James 5:19-20
If you read the Bible, there are two possible outcomes; you are either changed by the message, or you end up changing the message to suit your own/the world’s agenda.
Do you choose the world or God? You cannot have both.
“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”
John 17:17
Silence is conformity.
It’s that or fear. Most people use what I call the ‘silencer’ verse, “judge not” completely out of context. It is especially sad when a professing Christian does it since we are commanded to encourage and if need be, rebuke.
Amen! In the times to come, there will be those who, suffering hardships, root more deeply in their Saviour, light shining more brightly as the darkness deepens. And others, the broad path beckoning, in order to save themselves walk away from Him.
We are the people of the long defeat, within which are contained the seeds of final victory. Easter Sunday requires first a Good Friday, and we can only follow in the footsteps of our Lord.
Thank you for the link you provided at the bottom. However, I had to omit it from your comment altogether as a matter of conscience. I simply cannot promote Catholic material.
I have faced Pilate’s most pressing question, “Quid est veritas?” in John 18:38. I have a couple of posts if you care to read them.

https://modconspiracy.com/unity/ —– This one addresses the coming Ecumenism that will be inevitable in the looming Great Reset.
I appreciate you taking the time to comment. This is my independently hosted blog that is not connected to the community of readers at wordpress.com
That’s fine, it’s your blog. 🙂
It was the best article I could find that explained the concept, there was no catholic specific content within it.
The very title of the blog promotes Catholicism and it was touting an article as “excellent” coming from the Catholic World Report. I am looking at the very link right now.
However, another thing which I found to be problematic within the specific article was the promotion of C.S. Lewis. His ecumenical beliefs compared to the lens of Scripture is a landmine for believers who would rather idolize the man than read Scripture for themselves. Ecumenism is a denial of John 14:6.
