The Joys Of Spring

“The LORD does all that pleases Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and in all their depths. 7 He causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. He generates the lightning with the rain and brings forth the wind from His storehouses.”

Psalm 135:6-7

We drove to a nearby city yesterday, but it rained and the sky was so dark the only place we ended up at was the Dollar Tree. On our way home, the rain subsided and the sun decided to come out. Both this and the one above it were taken yesterday.

This was taken in Portland a few days ago. It wasn’t officially Spring yet, but this flower tree couldn’t wait to burst with immaculate beauty.

“Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

James 5:7-8

And this, over at Corvallis. Interestingly, all four pictures were taken during sunset.

Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation.”
3 With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation.

4 In that day you will say:

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.
5 Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world.”

Isaiah 12:2-5
