Many people say to vote your convictions. I haven’t encountered someone who actually wrote in Jesus on the ballot, but it means to vote for the platform that promotes biblical values. You think you would still have the freedom to talk about your faith openly if laws were enforced to prohibit you from praising & worshiping God in the public square? It’s interesting how a ‘public health crisis’ became the vessel to affect this right in some states.
Do you love America? It happens to be where people from all over the world have decided to make their home. If it weren’t great, no one in their right mind would break immigration laws just to come and live here. Respecting the anthem and the flag happens to come with the territory. Just because one is a law-abiding citizen does not mean they’re guilty of idolatry. I’ve read some people’s thoughts that patriotism equates to idolatry, but hey, at least we still have some freedom in expressing even the weirdest ideas, right?
When I was in high school in the 90’s, Socialism has already seeped heavily, though covertly in the course materials. I am fortunate not to have been born in China, Cuba, Venezuela and the former USSR. You wonder why most kids fresh out of high school and college lean socialist. We don’t need this freedom-loving country to turn into a socialist state. There are full blown socialist/communist countries to move to and have a taste of such utopia.
Social score system anyone? This looks to be the eventual outcome since countries tend to rival each other when it comes to pushing through a new frontier. If you jaywalk or play too much video games, you can kiss your opportunities goodbye. Keep your thoughts to yourself. It might get you canceled or get your loved ones in trouble. Don’t social media companies already do this to some people? We already have a taste of that perceived socialist utopia. Social media social-ists. It’s all fun and games until you’re the one being canceled.
