Be Holy
“Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. 14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.”
1 Peter 1:13-14
I have children. My desire is to see them grow in a society that values God’s righteousness. I cling to the hope that God will ultimately vindicate. On the other side of this, if everything that is happening now is according to His prophetic schedule, are we prepared to let go of the strong grip we have on this world? Our freedom in the West has afforded us the comfort of being able to share our faith without death and imprisonment as consequences, but it seems what we have long enjoyed is being “snatched by force” from us. As we strive to do what is required of us to be an influence to the world, so we also must ready ourselves for the Groom.
Jesus is coming soon.
Can you imagine if this year’s commemorative advent is literally the advent of the Rapture, His coming for the Church?
