Going by the world’s definition of abundant, it wouldn’t look anything like this.
It would look more like being in exotic places and owning fancy things.
My definition of abundant life is joy without having to leave the backyard on a Saturday.
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

This is true for every believer. However, to see this, you need a new vision and no, this is not to say we never have problems. It’s always there even when we try to avoid them (John 16:33).
“What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.“

Day 3 of the Everbearing Strawberry plant which was repotted yesterday.
As for the seemingly dead but dormant Chrysanthemum, I am keeping a close eye on it with hopeful expectation. I could try everything to take it out of slumber, but I don’t have the power to bring it back to life at will. Only God does.
