On a routine trip to Walmart earlier, I was taken aback that for a society that is anti-religion, they actually had this bouquet line-up right at the very entrance of the store. This is the first time I’ve ever witnessed Walmart sell stuff like this. Granted that it is Walmart, it’s all about profits. However, in the spiritual realm, the question becomes why would the antichrist spirit that is actively working behind the scenes be okay with this setup? The answer is pretty much found in the question itself.
Antichrist— instead of Christ.
Marian apparitions have a common thread. They exalt Mary instead of Jesus Christ. Not too long ago, I posted about a woman from Queens, NY who purportedly received messages from heaven ascribing titles that belong only to Jesus to Mary.
This bouquet of roses with the image of Guadalupe is marketed in commemoration of an apparition to a man named Juan Diego,
According to tradition, Mary appeared to Juan Diego, who was an Aztec convert to Christianity, on December 9 and again on December 12, 1531. During her first apparition she requested that a shrine to her be built on the spot where she appeared, Tepeyac Hill (now in a suburb of Mexico City). The bishop demanded a sign before he would approve construction of a church, however. Mary then appeared a second time to Juan Diego and ordered him to collect roses. In a second audience with the bishop, Juan Diego opened his cloak, letting dozens of roses fall to the floor and revealing the image of Mary imprinted on the inside of the cloak—the image that is now venerated in the Basilica of Guadalupe. I’m pretty sure Walmart has been selling this motif (at least in our area of the states) on tall glass candles as long as I can remember 😞

Yeah. I see the candles all the time at Dollar Tree (with male and female saints), not at Walmart. I never checked the candle section. The bouquet is a different story…
