It’s not a law problem. It’s a sin problem.

This is Jesus’ stern rebuke to the self-righteous who think they can fool people via appearances, especially those who appear to be for the people whose actions speak louder than their rhetoric. The very same people who decry guns have no qualms in supporting legislation that end life. Matthew 23 addresses the issue in full about hypocrisy. It’s not only towards our leaders but a reminder to each and every person that God does not honor lip service.
First find Jesus Christ, and only then will one truly become a new man.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
It’s not about changing the laws. We can change the laws to accommodate the issue of the moment but if no one is bent on abiding by it, it’s useless.
