Alors, my gusto for the French language has been reawakened thanks to the android app called Duolingo. I had passion for foreign languages at a tender age of 7, or maybe 8 having memorized John 3:16 en Espanol from the teeny weeny Gideon Bible. Spanish is not my native tongue, although my dialect has about 50% Spanish words in its vocabulary. I was born in Southeast Asia, speaking 2 dialects from that region and English.
Anyway, enough digressing. I took French in High School and my learning has been dormant since then. Although I am somewhat conversational, I would have the need to ask “Parlez lentement, s’il vous plait.”
