I’m not much into reblogging my old posts. I’ve probably done it, but very rarely. I think the date bears relevance as it reveals the mindset I had at that specific point in time. I’ve written old posts referring to what the world is currently experiencing here, here, here, and here. If you’re curious, you would click the links. “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.”
Romans 13:11-14
“clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ” – “You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.” – Revelation 3:17-18
You only get the white clothes when you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior personally. Being born into a Christian household is merely an introduction to the faith, not an automatic guarantee to salvation, something that becomes active by your own choice. I understand living the faith walk takes time, but time is running short. This is a warning to those who claim to be Christians, believe they are covered by the blood of the Lamb, but are living like the world and changing the Word of God to accommodate continual ungodly lifestyles (2 Timothy 3:5).
