Total cost per scarf? < $5.00. I used 1 Red Heart Brand Super Saver Yarn (for each scarf) bought @ Walmart for less than 3 bucks per skein. Not bad. Total hours of labor per scarf is about 20 hours. I work slow, I’m a little bit of a perfectionist which is quite a curse. For those of you who aren’t broke, I think it’s better off to buy mass produced scarves, but there is absolutely something pleasurable about making your own stuff.
