I may just have committed an interior decorating faux pas but keeping the peace is much more important. As you can see, my husband and I have an east meets west theme going on here. The neutral shade of the comforter really helps in downplaying the femininity of the cover I decided to lay on it. We made the joint decision to keep the old bedding as is for comfort’s sake and the duvet cover for the sake of me being happy, aesthetics wise. Yeah it may look too girly for marital bedding but to paraphrase the words of my husband, not even pink can challenge his masculinity. Lol. I must admit he wasn’t too thrilled at first but it was quite touching to hear the words, “I’m only doing this for you.” I apologize for the cheese factor but I just had to share.
