The Grapes Of Wrath

Would you die for a lie?

Ananias and Sapphira never thought they would, but they did, unexpectedly. The same fate befalls people mired in false religion (Christians affirming a lifestyle of homosexuality) when they die.

If living a lie (any lie, really) has become your reality, there is one antidote; reading and living out the Word of God. The Bible straightens us out. It’s interesting how people ask, “Are you gay or straight?” Gay is a euphemism for a deviation of God’s established order. The world surely has its way of making error palatable.

“For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”

1 John 2:16

The church does not reject the person who is struggling with same-sex attraction. It is the continued lifestyle that is contrary to the Word of God that is being rejected by the church. If you notice, no other sins parade itself proudly in the streets. Only homosexuals have parades.

The look on their faces testifies against them;
    they parade their sin like Sodom;
    they do not hide it.
Woe to them!
    They have brought disaster upon themselves.

Isaiah 3:9

There are those who profess to be Christians and are practicing homosexuals. Then there are those who are struggling with same-sex attractions (not active). The homosexuals who are enticing those who struggle to be fully given in to carnality and still claim to be followers of Christ are in for a rude awakening…

“If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.”

Hebrews 10:26-27

But in Jesus Christ, there is redemption.

“14 For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says:

16
“This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.
17 Then he adds:
“Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.

Hebrews 10:14-17

Repent!

  1. 9 Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality, 10 no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. -1 Corinthians 6:9-11

    Those who claim to be Christians and still live a life of homosexuality will not make it to heaven, showing that they have never had their sins washed by the blood of the Lamb.
    If you notice in verse 11, where it says, “And some of you used to be like this.” It points out that those who are justified in the name of Jesus Christ do not practice homosexuality anymore because, through Christ, the old sinful nature has died. The new man has surfaced so that the converted person can now live a life that pleases the Lord Jesus Christ.

    Claiming to be a Christian and at the same time still living like the world is an indication that they are self-deceived.
