The Wanderer


The grass is not always greener on the other side.
You eat and have your fill, but you are only being fattened for the day of slaughter.
Your shepherd is in pursuit of you and when He finds you, He has to discipline you so you no longer have to wander off again.

“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?”

Matthew 18:12

“It is good for me that I have been afflicted,
That I may learn Your statutes.
The law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.”

Psalm 119:71-72
