Trembling at God’s Word is acknowledging the authority of Scripture to govern our lives. We currently have the world as a case study that deviating from and rejecting the knowledge of God only leads to abject depravity. Sadly, many professing Christian denominations have opted friendship with the world (James 4:4) and traded God’s truth for numbers and entertainment and not true worship that honors God.
“For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.”
2 Corinthians 10:18 NKJV
Not all megachurches are bad, but most megachurches are run by wolves in sheep’s clothing. This verse also applies to the “superapostles” of our day and age. Their trending teachings and demon-slaying sessions on Social media does not mean they are truly approved workers of God (2 Timothy 2:15). Beware.
