A Disappearing Act

It makes it much easier to abandon the blog when my computer decides to go on repeated connectivity problems. For some days, I was trying to retrieve files from a computer which had a project (a book of birds entitled LOOK UP: Staying Faithful In The Midst of A Dystopia) I was working on that was completely wiped without warning along with everything else due to OS problems weeks prior.

Apart from the regular motions of life, I did not actually plan on taking a month-long hiatus. It did prove to be an opportune time to disappear for last month’s celebration of transgression. Everyone suffers from pride every once in a while, but even then, I’m not one to be moved to celebrate my own rebellion let alone join Sodom. Honestly, everyone should be free to celebrate whatever they want. Along that freedom is also having equal opportunity to choose not to participate.

Instead, choosing to get busy with plants and fruit that’s actually tasteful.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:1-2 NKJV
