We can apply what you said to substantiate the truth about Christianity. According to Jesus, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” and also, those who abide by Jesus’ teachings, even the hard to swallow teachings are the true Christians.
Unless a Muslim abide by Muslim principles in its entirety, they are not considered true Muslims. This is why even Muslims kill “other” muslims. It gets tiresome to hear people say there are moderate Muslims (I talked with a Muslim before here in WP) while they can discount a Christian’s claim that there are false Christians. In the same way, there are non-practicing Muslims who are deemed as subpar Muslims by the Quran abiding ones.
One might reason, but Christians kill other Christians… Wrong. Pseudo Christians kill the true Christians. In Islam’s case, the true Muslims kill pseudo-Muslims, the Kafir sympathizers.

All Muslims, moderate or extremist, have this in common regarding spiritual matters. They are damning people to hell with their demonic doctrine as well as cults who claim to be Christians but deny the person of Jesus Christ as being God. We as Christians need to reach out to them when given the chance to tell them that Jesus is the only way to make it into heaven. Regarding the Qur’an, it declares to fight the infidels, you and I.
