Disillusionment Is A Choice

It snowed yesterday. The rose garden at Bush’s Pasture Park is enveloped in white. This post is geared to my Conservative Christian brothers and sisters. In just seven days…

1) We witnessed our country being dedicated to a pagan god, “the strong name of our ‘collective’ faith” during Inauguration day. While the prayer sounded like a dream prayer filled with all the niceties and goodwill, the problem is that it was not addressed to the One True God, who does not share His glory with another.

“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may consider and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed, and after Me none will come.”

Isaiah 45:5

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

“But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 10:33

There is nothing collective about the ONLY WAY!

2) A slew of Executive Orders have been signed under the guise of equity which will infringe on our rights, indoctrinate the children with values contrary to our faith, the rights of women etc.

3) The media announces there are new strains of the virus coming from England and Brazil so people must mask up.

4) They say they are finally going with ‘the Science’, but two of the deep blue states, California and New York are now lifting their lock down orders when the media outlets recently reported that ‘new strains’ of the virus are here!

5) With all of this going on, the stores now happen to open late! Here in Oregon, most big retailers are open until 11 PM.  What is up with that?

6) A retail giant is complaining about how Mail-In ballots are not to be trusted.

As we carry on living our lives steeped in mainstream lies, it is easy to get disillusioned, but God always works things for the good of His people. Revival happens at a personal level. The good that we see come from all of this is that we can now easily distinguish who truly belongs to Him from the phonies.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33
