Christian, are you letting the spirit of this age get to you? “in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.” (Ephesians 2:2)
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you” (Luke 10:19). Are you going to let this authority go to waste? The truth is the unseen forces that is at work in the world (2 Timothy 2:26) is subject to you if you are known by them – “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” (Acts 19:15). Yes, the demons know who truly belongs to Christ and you better make sure they know your name. It only proves you are a threat and you’re actually on the right side. The opposite only proves you are dancing to their drumbeat.
If you stand for truth, the objective is to silence you by any means. Let your voice be heard. Do not cave to the pressures of this world. Do not be like a man who resolved to think for himself until one day, he decided to cave in to the pressure of his peers in fear of being taunted. Take your stand and speak the truth and let true justice, not the guise of justice prevail. You live in such a time as this to be a light to a world that grows dim by the minute.
